Fall Semester 2015-16 Final Exam

SELF ASSESSMENT SECTION:

1. a.) Think about all aspects of the class from interactions with your studio mates to interactions with the teacher as well as the completion of your individual assignments. What do you think that you got better at during the course of this class, and what do you think you needed to work harder on?

b.) Is there anything that Mrs. Harman might have done to help you get further along as a student of graphic design? What did she do that seemed really helpful, if anything?

2. a.) If you have particular strengths, what do you think that you could do to use them in a job?

MID TERM EXAM 2013

Today is your Midterm Exam. All answers should be in essay form. This exam will count as 15% of your total grade for the nine weeks. Please answer each question thoroughly and thoughtfully using complete sentences and PLEASE don't fragment your thoughts.

SELF ASSESSMENT SECTION:

1. Think about what kind of a student you have been in this class the first half of the semester. Think about all aspects of the class from interactions with your team to interactions with the teacher as well as the completion of your individual assignments. What are your own personal strengths and weaknesses? If you have weaknesses, are there things that you can do personally to get better at them? What might some examples of those things?

2. If you have strengths, what do you think that you could do with them? Have you started thinking about art/design as a job possibility rather than a hobby? What are you thinking about studying after you complete this class to get closer to those goals? What has been your own personal favorite thing about this class so far? What have you not enjoyed?

1. Are there students in this class that you feel are not here for the right reasons, or do you feel that we have a good balance of students who seem to be on a good path? What are the things that you admire about the students that are the most accomplished? What makes a great student in your opinion? How important is traditional grading in this environment? Do you feel like most people in the class deserve high grades for the work that they produce? Why?

2. This is the FINAL question...what would you do to modify the instruction techniques used at CCE in the Graphic Design studio? If you were the teacher, what would you consider doing differently. If you would not change things, tell me why you feel that way.

Fall 2015 Midterm

What are your own personal strengths and weaknesses?

3. If you have strengths, what do you think that you could do with them? Have you started thinking about art/design as a job possibility rather than a hobby? What are you thinking about studying after you complete this class to get closer to those goals?

3. Is the studio atmosphere conducive to you doing your best work as an artist? Are you happy with your learning environment?
